Since merging with Modular Thermal Technologies in 2015, Life Wear has grown with its partners on the pillars of innovation, customer service, quality and vertical integration.
Cara, Inc. is a supplier to the food, drug and mass market across various strategic categories within Health Care. Cara has been a partner in Sports Medicine and First Aid as well, but also maternity, baby and various other categories. Cara has been a long time partner to many fine retailers since 1983 and Life Wear intends to grow on these partnerships with best in class merchandising and category management abilities.
As of 06/14/2021, Modular Thermal Technologies, LLC purchased Cara, Inc., creating a combined entity with an intuitive and robust assortment for our partners. Specifically, the addition of Heating Pads and other key First Aid implements will make Life Wear a stronger partner to all customers within our portfolio. This acquisition will also deliver improved customer service, product development and merchandising capabilities. Moving forward, the combined entities will carry the Life Wear Technologies name, while continuing to provide the Cara brand proudly, as well as all current branded and private label Sports Medicine and therapeutic products.
